You may wonder why our process doesn’t include the usual intro calls/exploratory calls/live reviews, and why we don't pitch. Sumi isn't your standard agency.
Here’s our rationale:
1) By cutting out hours dedicated to sales, calls, nurturing clients, scheduling, making pitch decks and proposals, etc., we’re able to take the savings and apply it toward creating an affordable model for our customers. Now, instead of spending thousands on brand and creative services, you're able to get it for significantly less.
2) No one wants to spend their time on calls and meetings, period. We find that they tend not to be a productive use of time, and you end up sending the more relevant information and recapping the call over email anyway.
3) Bandwidth. We want our team to stay focused on doing the stuff they’re great at (designing, writing, thinking).
Less meetings for all!
Branding and marketing can be overwhelming. With Sumi, you’re in a familiar experience (everyone has online shopped), while keeping our services easy to understand, affordable, and completely transparent for you. We hope you like our straight-forward approach (and the speed that comes with it).

Fingers crossed, we've not run into an impasse yet. Our team is briefed using the info you give on your intake form, and your feedback on the rounds of review for your work. Take your time here and be as expansive and detailed as possible to ensure we're headed in the right direction.
But don't worry - references, photos, etc. can help here, and our team is a thoughtful bunch. 100% of the time, they'll have clarifying questions for you.
Luckily, you can always purchase an extra revision round for a small fee. If we really missed the mark, we'll escalate it and see if we can make it right.
Depending on the product you select, the team will differ, but all projects have, at minimum, at least 1 designer, 1 brand strategist, and 1 copywriter.

We're more than happy to quote your request and make you a custom add-on. Simply reach out to inquire, or note it in your intake form after you purchase, and we'll get back to you. Similar requests that we receive usually include naming, website design, packaging, etc.
We've developed a model that is optimized for efficiency and runs more like an e-commerce business vs an agency. We save on costs internally by taking back time and resources that would normally be dedicated to sales, client calls, pitching, etc.

We are limited to 3-4 rounds of review and feedback. Luckily, we haven't run into issues here and if we miss the mark, we always want to make it right.
If you simply changed your mind, you can purchase additional revision rounds for a small fee.

If you'd like to start small, you can always come back and work with us on a bigger project and we'll reduce the cost for the work we've already completed.
